Gratitude

The other day a Facebook friend nominated me by way of challenge to list three things I was grateful for everyday for....I'm not sure how long....AND to nominate/challenge three of my friends to do the same thing.

You will not be seeing any of my gratitude posts on FB.

But that doesn't mean I am NOT grateful.

And my list could go on.....

Every night before I go to sleep, I write my intentions for the next day in a journal that sits near my bed.

Every morning when I wake up, but before I get out of bed, I silently give thanks and express my gratitude for at least five things - some of which I have and some of which I know are coming my way.
Sometimes I give gratitude for whatever pops into my head and other mornings I have to really focus on what I am grateful for.

One morning I even gave thanks for my mother-in-law. Most of you don't know my mother-in-law, but I gave thanks for her because from her I have learned how NOT to be with my own children and their chosen boyfriend/girlfriend (future spouse?)
Look, I may be grateful for my mother-in-law, but that doesn't mean I want to spend time a lot of time with her.
See how gratitude can work?

There are lots of mornings that I give gratitude for my health....and that's a double dose of good, because it has been said that the practice of being grateful will boost the immune system.

Win-Win!!!!

So, while I won't be posting three things I am grateful for every day on my Facebook page, I am a firm believer in gratitude.

And I nominate you (challenge you) to find a little gratitude in your LIFE!!!
